No more jitters as Uber finally barged into win column of the Kings of the Court | STR8 Philippines Corporate Recreational tournament after dismantling Centric IT - Team A, 44-20, held last June 2 at The Upper Deck Lifestyle Center in Pasig City.

The game had the makings of a low-scoring affair right at the first quarter which ended with Uber ahead by a point, 8-7.

Physicality rose up in the second quarter as bodies fell down on the floor. Teodosio started off the quarter with two three-pointers to give Uber a seven-point advantage, but the succeeding minutes turned out to be a struggle for both teams, especially on offense. Still, Uber stayed ahead 16-9.

Uber's defense paid off by converting fast break baskets, courtesy of Jeffrey Andres and Teodosio, stretching their lead to 16 points. Jay De Lima knocked down back-to-back baskets for Centric IT-Team A to cut the deficit to 12 going to the final canto, 27-15.

As Joshua Redillas brought Centric IT - Team A to within one after a three-point play, Uber responded with a ferocious 16-2 run to officially notch their first win in the tournament.

With their size advantage, Uber relied on their defense to limit Centric IT Group - Team A to a dismal 13.7% field goal clip.

Terrence Teodosio was the only player to finish in double figures as he collected 20 points, including four three-pointers.

Joseph Carlo Hermo and Joshua Redillas combined for 12 points for Centric IT Group - Team A, which now holds a 1-1 win-loss record.
