Starting the year with a bang: AstraZeneca opens 2019 with an out-of-town sportsfest in Splendido, Tagaytay

It was a day to remember for AstraZeneca, as they capped its annual Business Conference with a destination sportsfest, at the Splendido Country Club, a breakthrough that was 6 months in the making, and elevating the overall player experience from its 2017 edition. The one-day sports festivites covered four different sports, namely Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, and Bowling. Four teams were represented in each sport, with Symbicort parading the fighting-red color, Brillinta dazzled with the orange shade, Xigduo brought out the true-blue spirit, while Tagrisso rose with the mean-green havoc for this year's sports fest.


21st One La Salle Alumni Basketball League kicks off with record 27-teams across 4 divisions

Lasallian alumni from from different batches and various campuses once again converged at the St. Benilde Gym hardwood to kick off the 21st season of the One La Salle Alumni Basketball League, or OLSABL, last Sunday, Jan. 20, at La Salle Green Hills. For its 2019 edition, the league renewed its partnership with Kings of the Court with teams rekindling their inner Animo across four divisions - Seniors, Adults, Juniors, and the growing Recreational Division.

Team Giron outlasts Team Rocha, nabs LSGH Batch 05 Liga title

PATRICK Giron saved his best game for last to lead his squad to an 82-75 victory over Team Rocha in the winner-take-all match for the 2018 La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) Batch 2015 Liga title. In Game 3 on Tuesday night, Dec. 11, at the G Court in Mandaluyong City, NBA Philippines' Giron, the league's leading scorer, could not be stopped as he put up 34 big points to stun the Team Rocha five.
