Martin Fajardo took over for ML-HUB to pin down Gator’s supremacy and earn the Kings of the Court|STR8 Knights division title this Season 11, 90-77, held last Sunday at the historic The Upperdeck Gym in Ortigas City.

Fajardo started firing as early as the first quarter as he orchestrated his team’s offense, and posted a 18-9 midway and eventually ended it up by 14, 29-15.

He torched for 34 points, while shooting an excellent 71% from the two point area and 75% from deep, alongside eight boards, four steals, and a couple of steals - bagging the Finals MVP awards.

His teammates contributed as well, especially in the third period as they even increased the margin into 16, 60-54 in the latter part of the said canto and when Fajardo came back in the hardcourt, he punctuated their big quarter with a buzzer beating triple to go in the final frame up by eight, 68-60.

In the fourth, it’s been a collective effort for ML-Hub to keep Gators at bay - grabbing its first ever KOTC championship and halting Gators supremacy this season.

Rod Alcantara added 14 points, Viron Rayton had 11, while Danny Datwin chipped in eight for the champs.

On the other hand, this is the second straight season Gators fell down in a championship game after winning it in 2017. Last year, they were outmatched to Abiel Herrera’s United team, and on the present day - Fajardo ousted their chance to redeem themselves.

Going back to the Eliminations, Gators held off ML-Hub, 99-91. However, this time they couldn’t stop their opponent’s offensive juggernaut.

Somehow, Billy Ray Castillo tops for 18 points and five rebounds, Michael Araña had a double-double effort 14 and 13, while Marvin Meneses produced 16 markers.
