MHPS-TS has been one of the pioneers here in the OBL, and they are gunning for another title in their trophy case as the company is about to commemorate their silver anniversary.

“One of the pioneers ang MHPS sa OBL. Marami na rin kaming championships. Marami na rin kaming experiences dito sa OBL,” said Coach Danny.

Their campaign will be led by MVP candidates King Reyes, Nikki Hugo, and Ralph Bumanlag, who are key cogs in implementing Coach Danny’s run-and-gun style of play. However, their amiable coach acknowledged that it’s a matter making adjustments on the fly depending on who they are facing.

“Itong mga ito talented lahat yan. Lahat sila pwede mag step up anytime na hugutin sila. Si King Reyes dating contender namin yan for MVP. Sabihin na natin na siya ‘yung isa sa stars namin,” bared Coach Danny.

“Sistema namin is estimate namin kung pwedeng takbuhan, takbuhan, kasi mabibilis kami eh. Kung ano ‘yung takbo ng laro, dun kami maga-adjust,” he added.

With the company being known for trusting their process in delivering the needs of their clients, MHPS-TS’ success can be owed much to their recruiting, and Coach Danny sees their program as a viable development program for their employee-athletes.

“Sa employees meron kaming internal na basketball league, and doon ko nakikita ‘yung mga players na may potential na para dito sa OBL. Sa recruitment, wala namang [issues], basta kung sinong available kinukuha namin,” said Coach Danny.

Overall, joining the OBL has done wonders for the company as it provided their employees work-life balance from their busy work schedules. The league also provided a platform for their players to strut their stuff in the hardwood.

“Maganda itong outlet when it comes to bringing sports sa mga empleyado and nakikita rin namin ‘yung ibang companies as well as the players. Maganda itong tournament para sa amin,” said the amiable mentor.

Currently at 4-0, MHPS-TS is a force to be reckoned with in the OBL. And with a deep roster loaded with experience and veteran smarts, they are certainly up there in the league’s upper pantheon.
