The final game of the Saturday night quadruple-header at The Upper Deck Lifestyle Center saw the Legends welcome Pink Dad's with an 86-71 defeat.

LA Agustin top-scored for the victor in this one with 21 points on 60% shooting from the field, while Jobert Castro finished with 19 points, six boards, and three dimes.

Both teams started off slow, until the black shirts mentored by Ajun Valenzuela, dug deep and rose to a 16-9 advantage after the first quarter. Come second quarter, the Legends unloaded a 27-point surge to further elevate their advantage to a 43-21 gap at halftime.

Pink Dad's would respond with better defense to start the third quarter of play, led by Paul Anthony Gan, who delivered a game-high 35 points on 82% shooting from the field. The run however, would be halted midway through the second half opener, as the opposition recovered by putting up 13 solid markers to end the third frame.

The eventual victor would never look back as the Legends took home the 15-point opening day win. Team Captain Ajun Valenzuela dished out seven assists on top of four points and four rebounds. Jojo Avila and JM Zubia each gathered six markers and four rebounds, while Eric Quiroga finished with a perfect 4/4 clip from the field to end up with eight markers.

Lloyd Escoses and Gerardo Pilapil finished next to Paul Anthony Gan's big night, with each of them contributing eight points and a combined eight boards across their names. Randy Concepcion rounds out the valiant efforts from Pink Dad's, with seven points fueled by two made triples and a split from the charity stripe.
