Learn to Trade cruises past Finastra for second straight victory

Despite a slow start, Learn to Trade picked up the slack in the second canto to blaze past Finastra for their second win, 79-54, in the Kings of the Court Corporate Invitational Division last Sunday at The Upper Deck Lifestyle Center.

Jeffrey Valencia once again had an enormous game after grabbing double-double of 12 points and 18 rebounds to lead Learn to Trade for their second straight win. In addition to his big numbers, Valencia also finished with four assists and three steals in total.

Finastra’s offense clicked on the first quarter behind the scoring production from Bernie Leonida, who had 19 points in total in the whole regulation. After the first quarter, Finastra snatched a 15-21 advantage; somehow it was their last chance to take on the lead.

Learn to Trade finally got their tempo at the second frame as they destroyed Finastra, limiting their opponent to only two-point quarter. The blue squad finished the first half with an astonishing run, 33-23.

Unfortunately, Finastra unable to pull some defensive stops and continue to struggle until the final buzzer. On the other side, Learn to Trade showed their hungriness for the victory as they showcased its offensive mentality every plays, as well as their defensive toughness to force missed shots and turnovers from their opponent.

Learn to Trade displayed a balance offensive production as five of their players recorded a double-digit scoring, led by Allan Aquille who had 19 points. Michael Catindoy ended with 16 markers while Jayson Tanao Tanao had 13 and Frix Salveon contributed with 10.

Finastra’s nightmare continues as they were still looking for its first win in the season, losing its third straight.
