Two of the most hardworking squads the division has ever seen will settle their unfinished business as top seed South Flight will look to sweep their season matchup against the second seed Hoops Project.

South Flight boasts an all hustle crew who are not afraid to play run and gun against anyone in the league. The number one ranked squad finished the elimination round with a 5-2 win-loss card and smashed their way past Syracuse in the semifinals, to punch a ticket going to the championship round.

Soaring stats:

With sky-high shooting from the field with a league-best 49.6% field goal percentage, along with another league-best 20.0 assists per game, it's safe to say that Anthony Sarte-led South Flight doesn't have any problem orchestrating on the offensive end. On defense, a fearsome 10.0 steals per game (also a league-best) and an average 36.5 rebounds a contest solidifies their stand as a worthy finalist this season.

Players to look out for:

In all of the eight games they've played in the season so far, five players have averaged past double figures while at leas four other can rack up not less than five rebounds per ballgame. Mythical selection Chrisjohn Jutie leads the charge with splendid averages of 26.2 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.

Marwin Montejo (17.6 ppg) and Joshua Anquilan (13.0 ppg & 5.5 rpg) serves as a solid support for their main guy, all throughout the games played in their season 11 campaign.

Finally ending a long-awaited chance to play for a championship, Hoops Project achieved their best elimination round record since the Leo Centenera-mentored ball group entered the Rooks Division. Cruising to five victories in the elims and squeaking past GH12 in the semifinals, the golden ticket gave this crew of young guns who are ready to fight for the throne.

Playing for each other:

They might be second best in the league, but their chemistry is second to none. Bragging an nearly identical league-best, 49% shooting from the field, Hoops shot pretty good and made lots of buckets in all of the seven elimination games they played this season.

In the knockout semifinal stages, they elevated their field goal numbers to 51% from within the arc, 48% from rainbow country, and a 100% output from the charity stripe. All the success can be credited to their consistent 14 assists per ball game in al of their outings so far.

Players to look out for:

While not a single member made it to the Mythical five list, the well-spread wealth in their production is fueled by their own best five, who are averaging double figures in scoring the basketball.

Evan Brondial is averaging a double-double of 17.2 points and rebounds per game; Steven Rabanal splashes 15.1 markers; 14.3 points comes from Rap Medina; Wency Magampo racks up 13.8 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest; Paul Goyenechea registers 10.3 markers per game.

Back in their first meeting, a seven-man South Flight outlasted Hoops Project in a close 66-63 elimination round encounter. Come Sunday, this could go either way.

Will top seed’s depth and dominance reign? or will Hoops Project get their championship-sized vengeance to cap off their best campaign in recent history?
