DJ Sports copped win number two after edging Coreganix King, 82-66, in the second game of a quadruple-header on Sunday at The Upper Deck Lifestyle Center in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Emarson Que and Nickson Tan scored 15 points each and combined for 11 rebounds while Kyle Chua finished with a game-high 24 points, along with four rebounds and four assists as they clobbered the shorthanded Coreganix King. DJ sports used a huge 20-7 second quarter blast to lead by double figures at halftime and never looked back since.

The yellow shirts dominated every crucial category in the statistical column, as they collected 27 total assists, while draining 41% of their triple tries. The Edrick Catungal-mentored ballclub did enough in three quarters, and secured their lead until the final buzzer despite Coreganix King's fourth quarter blitz.

Dane Marilag led Coreganix with 22 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Mac Valentino added 19 points, 12 rebounds, and five dimes in nearly 40-minutes of playing time. Rey Padlan and Theo De Guzman each scored nine markers and put up eight boards combined, while Jeff Manese had seven points and three assists. Marvin Madrid contributed eight boards, two assists, and a steal to round out the contributions for Coreganix King.

Six other players scored at least a bucket in the win, led by Matthew Cua's seven point-seven rebound performance. Patrick Rogando had six rebounds on top of four points, two assists, and two steals. Matthan Yu added five points, five rebounds, and four assists, while Edrick Catungal and John Ng Cha each contributed four markers as DJ Sports ends their elimination round campaign with a 2-3 record.
