The horror from the previous game happened again but the ePLDT was able to draw the same result as they spoiled Factset's debut via 75-72 win at The Upper Deck Gym in Ortigas, Pasig last Sunday.

Dejavu as we called it, ePLDT lost their huge margin for the second time, first against Finastra when they had a 22-point lead but won only by three, 81-78, and this time the 23-point cushion once again became a three-point victory.

Kim Gonzales has shown consistent effort from start to finish as he bested with a monstrous double-double of 18 points and 21 rebounds. His frontcourt partner Jerome Canseco contributed 11 markers, while Adz Duran, Monching Olazo, Riguel Enriquez, and Christian Villanueva combined for 30 points as ePLDT remained unscathed after three outings.

The ePLDT stretched their lead to 23 points to start off the fourth quarter and managed to take a double digit lead down to the final three minutes of the game.

However, Factset, a former Corporate Division champion, refused to give up that easily as they scared the undefeated team using a late rally to come close to within two points with only few seconds on the clock.

They sent Gonzales to the free throw line with just 0.6 second left. Gonzales was perfect from the foul line before taking the last two attempts but missed his first. Then, he made sure his second try will count using his off-the-glass trademark shot that sealed the victory for ePLDT.

Russel Medrano and Rein Gaitan took care of Factset's attacks, especially in their fourth quarter onslaught, as they gathered 29 and 14 points respectively.
