The Exile line of ball clubs playing on the Saturday game, didn't want to end up winless to start their weekend KOTC Q1 2020 Inter Pick-Up League, as the Aquinas squad grabbed a 97-91 victory against tough challengers in TKOVER.

Aquinas Exile had to overturn a 62-66 deficit entering the final period of play, and take the driver seat, 71-70, five minutes into the fourth. On a roll at that point, the Edward Medina-mentored squad pushed their lead further to a double-digit gap, 97-87 with a minute remaining in the ballgame.

TKOVER had one last run in the dying seconds, but despite holding the eventual victor scoreless in the final seconds, the late fight back came up short as they absorbed their first defeat in the eliminations. Marvin Manaois starred once more for the squad, finishing with a game-high 32 points on 12/13 shooting from the field and 80% clip from the charity stripe.

Jan Marigondon collected 12 markers, Ronnie Espinosa had 12 of his own while owning six rebounds as well. Diego Morales finished with an efficient 10 points and seven rebounds to round out the contributors for the red shirts.

Jayson Bondoc top-scored all black shirts with 30 points, while Jayr Patricio and Larry Rivera scored 16 and 15 markers respectively. Jasper Casitas had 13 markers, along with two steals and shot 54% from the field to wrap up the winning efforts for Aquinas Exile.
